It’s a great feeling when someone mentions an idea to you that makes so much sense that you go “Oh!”.
I had one of those moments courtesy of Avatar‘s Mark Brown the other day.
I try to get him to talk about business and sales as much as I can because every time he opens his mouth it seems that something smart comes out. He told me that another friend of ours, Raoul, is changing his voicemail outgoing message every day with the date and a tiny personal message.
It’s a small tip that lets everyone who leaves you a message know that you are awake, on it, and going about your day. What a great idea!
Now I’m doing it too. Call my cellphone at (404) 388 6951 and make sure I changed it today. If I haven’t, yell at me!
